Mudbusters Carwash

Project Details

Mudbusters Carwash Company is a local Alaskan, family-owned business where Alaskans go to keep their vehicles, big boy toys, and equipment both clean and protected. Located in Wasilla, Alaska – Mudbusters also offers Mutt-Buster Dog wash facilities which is fitting because Wasilla is also home to the world-famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race!

Situation

As a touchless car wash, and dog wash, Mudbusters only uses soft water and high-pressure nozzles instead of brushes or friction, they require more water than a traditional car wash. With expanding to a new location, they were looking for a heating system to handle a large continuous load to heat the building and also heat the water being used in the wash.

Results

Mat-Su Mechanical, a Wasilla-based contractor, was hired.  Triangle Tube’s Prestige Cascade unit was their product of choice for radiant and snowmelt.  Mat-Su is a long-time user and has lots of faith in the product.  So much faith that Triangle Tube boilers now provide water heating and efficiency expanding at their new locations.
